There is no set time for steeping and no set rule for the amount of herbs you use; it all depends on your taste. \u2026experiment to find your preferences.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1\uff0e Hortulus\u2019s loose herbal teas are made from the least processed ingredients for bringing out the texture, flavour and character.<br \/>\nMix well light materials (leaves and petals) and heavier and solid materials (seeds, roots, fruits, buds) every time before you use.<br \/>\nIf you grind the solid materials using a mortar or electric processor, you can brew your tea faster. \u3000<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.\u00a0\u00a0Put one level teaspoon of materials per one cup of tea (about 180ml) into your pot or infuser basket. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3\uff0e\u00a0When the water boils, paused a moment. Pour it over the ingredients I a cup (180ml), and cover with the lid as soon as possible to prevent volatile oils from escaping. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4\uff0e\u00a0Let the tea steep for a specific period (please refer to the instructions on each label.) <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5\uff0e Strain and pour the tea into a cup, or take infuser basket form a mug.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">6\uff0e Enjoy the experience that warms the heart and soul with a great cup of tea!<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u3000<\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u263b<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Optional &#8211; Add extras (honey, lemon or milk) to taste, but take a sip first &#8211; you may find you love the herbal teas just as it is. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u3000<span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">\u2666<\/span><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"> Honey should not be fed to infants younger than 1 year old. <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u3000\u263b<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Brewed herbal tea should be used \u2026<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u3000\u3000 &#8211; in the pot at room temperature  or in bottles (useful when traveling)  within 12 hours<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000 &#8211; in the refrigerator within 24 hours.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u3000\u263b<span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is a standard to drink up to 3 cups per day.<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000 A typical rule is to use a teaspoon (2~3 grams) of herbs per a cup (180ml) of hot water for adult.<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000 \u201cUsing one teaspoon of herbs\u201d is counted as one cup, even if it is used again for a<br \/>\n\u3000\u3000 second or more brew.
