\u2663\u00a0How to store<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Once a package has been opened, transfer your tea into an airtight container. <\/span><\/h3>\n

It is best to store the tea in an dark coloured \/ opaque glass, ceramics, stainless or tin container, away from light, air, heat, odors and moisture.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Although herbal tea can safely be consumed after the “Best By” date if kept properly, herbal flavour, fragrance and efficacy will fade over time.
\nIn order to enjoy the original flavour and aroma, we recommend the tea be consumed within 1 year of the opening of the package.

\u2663\u00a0How to brew<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

It\u2019s mostly personal preference. There is no set time for steeping and no set rule for the amount of herbs you use; it all depends on your taste. \u2026experiment to find your preferences.
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

1\uff0e Hortulus\u2019s loose herbal teas are made from the least processed ingredients for bringing out the texture, flavour and character.
\nMix well light materials (leaves and petals) and heavier and solid materials (seeds, roots, fruits, buds) every time before you use.
\nIf you grind the solid materials using a mortar or electric processor, you can brew your tea faster. \u3000
\n<\/span><\/h3>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0Put one level teaspoon of materials per one cup of tea (about 180ml) into your pot or infuser basket. <\/span><\/h3>\n

3\uff0e\u00a0When the water boils, paused a moment. Pour it over the ingredients I a cup (180ml), and cover with the lid as soon as possible to prevent volatile oils from escaping. <\/span><\/h3>\n

4\uff0e\u00a0Let the tea steep for a specific period (please refer to the instructions on each label.) <\/span><\/h3>\n

5\uff0e Strain and pour the tea into a cup, or take infuser basket form a mug.<\/span><\/h3>\n

6\uff0e Enjoy the experience that warms the heart and soul with a great cup of tea!<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u3000<\/span>\u263b<\/span>Optional – Add extras (honey, lemon or milk) to taste, but take a sip first – you may find you love the herbal teas just as it is. <\/span><\/h3>\n

\u3000\u2666<\/span><\/span> Honey should not be fed to infants younger than 1 year old. <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u3000\u263bBrewed herbal tea should be used \u2026<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u3000\u3000 – in the pot at room temperature or in bottles (useful when traveling) within 12 hours
\n\u3000\u3000 – in the refrigerator within 24 hours.

\u3000\u263bIt is a standard to drink up to 3 cups per day.
\n\u3000\u3000 A typical rule is to use a teaspoon (2~3 grams) of herbs per a cup (180ml) of hot water for adult.
\n\u3000\u3000 \u201cUsing one teaspoon of herbs\u201d is counted as one cup, even if it is used again for a
\n\u3000\u3000 second or more brew. (Multiple brew is not recommended because the flavour and
\n\u3000\u3000 effects of any steeping is less than that of a first steeping.)
